I was so pleased with Liza and the puppies(Kiera, etc) she produced
that I flew to Ireland and bought another female puppy(Glenbriar
Roisin) in 2007 from the kennel that produced Liza's maternal bloodline.
Glenbriar Roisin comes from Glenbriar
Labradors which has one of the oldest true linebred lines of
Labradors left in the world. Over 100 Glenbriar dogs have won field
trials as well as achieving FTCH's, International FTCH's, and 10
NFC's as well as numerous Dog of the Year titles all over Europe
including Great Britain, the home of the Labrador. Roisin(Rosie)
is OFA Hips Good/elbows Normal, CERF is current/normal, and is EIC
Clear. She is also PRA clear by parentage and her dam is CNM clear
as well. This bloodline may be as genetically clean as any in the
world. Rosie has the complete package of natural skills that Labradors
had two hundred years ago. She has great drive and speed to go with
excellent marking skills and a keen nose. She has a great/happy
disposition, lives to please, and has been very easy to train. She
is a small traditional European Labrador weighing 45 pounds. Rosie
was sired by 2 time NFC Kelland Ross. Ross has perfect hips and
eyes and is Optigen Clear for PRA. He has not been tested for CNM.
Rosie's dam Kelland Nutmeg of Glenbriar has a hip score of 3+2(excellent)
and her eyes are clear. She is also clear for PRA and CNM. Rosie
is our second Glenbriar dog and will not be our last. This bloodline
will always be a part of our kennel. She is the absolute real deal.
Her DNA is registered with the AKC. I was so pleased with Rosie
that I flew to Ireland again in 2011 and brought home Glenbriar
Primrose, a yellow female Labrador. |
